day 09: may 6, 2005.

this day, check out of wonderful place homeikan, that is traditional and very beautiful ryokan. breakfast was brought to room in also traditional way for late-waker pair. it was nice for holiday feel, slowly eating breakfast and watch nonsense japanese morning tv. but eating too slowly (and ducky pretend not to see-able lettuce on side of egg so did not consumption), and person could not clear trays at half hour mark, and glared at poteto! T_T but after then, poteto and ducky return to futon for doze a little more till check-out time. because near proximity to tokyo university (toudai) is attaining, it was decision by ducky and poteto to stroll campus ground of rival. it is beautifuller campus than waseda even though waseda is private and rich... maybe because it is older place and more redbrick than modernish waseda? there is pleasant lane avenue in toudai too with both sides of ichou (gingko) trees... muchly penetrative cold day, so pair did not stay long before return to waseda by train.

on way home, stopping at santoku to buy water and tea for ducky who sickened on bad tokyo water. also, yakitori snack for ducky from most favourite vendor-san. in room, dota and snacking and realisation of mistake of plane ticket, so ducky's ticket for 18may return insteand of 8may (and at last poteto stop crying and is secretfully happy). however, ducky call placed to MAS and changed to may9, for extra, special day... and poteto felt happy for extra time. after lunch of poteto-produced chikin and mushroom fettuccini and madness of fax and call to MAS, ducky and poteto rush to togoshi-dai junior high school for meet with shigeru-san! keiko at togoshi with old friend shiggy, and much enjoyment for all tree, though tiresome. ducky had good feeling for togoshi boys, also keiko with shiggy-san and lunatic yamamoto sensei, it was fruits session. fruitsfull? poteto keiko with shiggy two times for his evil plan and pushed ducky to yamamoto sensei. after keiko, all line up in sensei line, and ducky gave adoreable short speech and introduciton that make others smile.

in time after the shower and change of clothing, there was good dinner with shiggy-san at yakiniku restaurant (always yakiniku with shiggy-san!) and beer (always beer with shiggy-san!). it is at rather name famous restaurant at togoshi ginza, so food was excellence! and good opportunity for chats once again, with old friend, and wonderful. later on way home it was rainy day, and both poteto and ducky were soaked... hot shawaa for cold. then dota and poteto feeding ducky kuromame agemochi senbei (is smallish rice cake with little black bean, fried till crisp senbei), and housey things like laundry. not so busy day but there was many happy times...
